The Newman Basket is handmade from a single piece of wood. All baskets are made in Damascus, Virginia at Trails Artware.
The Newman Basket has been in continuous production since Sept. 1, 1985. On Nov. 4, 1989, I was awarded United States design patent No. D-304-640 for my basket.
All baskets are finished with linseed oil. Please treat them as you would your other fine woodwork.
